Kembara

Terms of use

DRAFT. This text is a placeholder and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not yet in force.

These terms cover the Kembara app and website, run by Blackridge Group Co., Ltd. By using them you agree to the following.

What Kembara is

Kembara is a tool for setting, running and following orienteering and similar outdoor events. The organiser of an event is responsible for the event: the safety of the ground, the suitability of the course, permissions to use the land, and looking after the people taking part.

Your account

Organisers sign in with an email address, Google or Apple. Keep that sign-in to yourself. Runners do not need an account.

Paying

Kembara is free to use. If we offer paid extras later, they will be optional, and the price is shown in the app before anyone is charged.

Accuracy

GPS punching depends on the phone and the sky. Kembara shows the organiser what it recorded and lets them correct results; it does not promise that every punch is right.

Ending

We may close an account that is used to break the law or to harm others. You may stop using Kembara at any time and ask for your data to be removed.
